My name is Josh. I'm an Australian driver with a passionate interest in all things road safety.

The aim of the site is to promote attitudes and skills development that will lead to safer and more efficient use of our public road network.

This site is for road users of all ages and backgrounds. Whether you're learning to drive, ride or walk, or a seasoned road user, there should be something here for just about everyone.

Background

I'm based in Melbourne, Australia. I'm 28 years old and I have about six years driving experience, driving cars, motorcycles and ambulances! I have undetaken numerous advanced and defensive driving courses over this time, to improve my attitude and skill on the road.

I believe all of us can improve our safety and capability on the road with a modest effort.

Early in my driving career as a learner motorcyclist I had the unfortunate opportunity to find out how inexperience and fatigue can affect driving. Luckily no one else was involved and I sustained only minor injuries - although I'm sure it took about month for my foot to fit in my shoe again. It was these trying few months that made me realise I had to lift my game and take responsibility.

By starting this website I hope to make a difference to the quality and level of driving on Australian roads. I hope you'll join me in setting a positive example for all.
